We're calling it "Ellisons on the Ranch"—a weekend community of our favorite people, where every glance reveals a familiar, cherished face. Our hearts swell at the thought of you all immersing yourselves in the ranch's embrace, from exhilarating horseback rides and invigorating hikes to tranquil yoga and wellness, or the quiet grace of fly fishing. We can't wait to share in this luxury service and make countless cherished memories with each of you, weaving together a weekend as unique and beautiful as our journey.
We wanted to share these core details early so you can begin your travel planning. We will be adding more specific information—including shuttle schedules, activity sign-ups, and attire inspiration—as our wedding weekend approaches. Thursday, August 27th
CHECK IN
Check in at Brush Creek Ranch is 4pm however guests are welcome to arrive in time for lunch at 11:30am and participate in an afternoon activity on arrival day.
SADDLE UP & SETTLE IN
We’re gathering our favorite people to toast the start of the Sembler & Ellison Wedding Weekend! Please join us for a Welcome Reception as we begin our celebration under the Wyoming sky.

5:00 PM | Welcome & Custom Hat Bar
The celebration begins! Please join us at your leisure to enjoy a cocktail and visit our custom hat bar. Come ready to design and don your new favorite piece of Western wear for the weekend ahead. No need to rush—take your time settling in. The hat bar will be creating your custom headpieces until the end of the event.
6:30 PM | A Toast & Dinner
We will share a few words of welcome before sitting down to dinner.
Friday, August 28th
A DAY AT THE RANCH
Breakfast & lunch are included in your stay and will be available each day at the Trailhead Lodge or Magee Homestead. Enjoy the wide-open spaces of Brush Creek Ranch. Guests are free to spend the morning and afternoon at their leisure. Whether you’re exploring the trails, relaxing at the lodge, or simply taking in the Wyoming views, we hope you enjoy the beauty of the ranch before the festivities begin. We will share more information on how to sign up for activities a bit closer to the wedding date.
WEDDING DAY
4:00 PM | The Wedding Ceremony
We ask that all guests be seated by 4:00 PM sharp as we exchange our vows and begin our life together. Transportation from your cabins and lodge will be provided and we will share details on where to be for pick-up closer to the wedding date.
Location: The Wedding Meadow | The Farm at Brush Creek Ranch
Attire: Western Formal
Think: Sophisticated ranch elegance. Suits and midi-to-full-length dresses. We encourage you to pair your look with your favorite boots and, of course, your new custom hats. We ask that you DO NOT wear jeans for the wedding day. Bolo ties or ties encouraged.
Celebration to Follow
Immediately following the ceremony, please join us for cocktails, dinner, and dancing under the stars.
Saturday, August 29th
ANOTHER DAY AT THE RANCH
Breakfast and lunch are on us! Sleep in, savor your morning coffee, and reminisce about last night's celebration. The day is yours to enjoy at your leisure—whether you're ready for an adventure on the trails, prefer to relax by the lodge, or simply want to soak in the Wyoming views one more time. We'll share activity sign-up details closer to the wedding date.
THE LAST LASSO
Let’s gather one last time to celebrate the new Mr. & Mrs. Ellison! Before we all head our separate ways, join us for a relaxed evening of BBQ, campfire stories, and Wyoming hospitality.
Location: Creekside Camp at Brush Creek Lodge
Attire: Denim Best
Show up relaxed and ready for a night by the creek. Think elevated ranch wear. Your favorite jeans (well-loved or crisp and new), denim jackets, pearl snaps, and comfortable boots. And don’t forget to layer up—once the sun dips behind the mountains, the creekside air gets refreshingly cool!
5:00 PM | Cocktails & Campfire
We’ll begin the evening creekside. Grab a drink, find a spot by the fire, and enjoy the final sunset of the wedding weekend.
6:00 PM | Farewell Dinner
A casual, family-style BBQ dinner will be served as we toast to an unforgettable few days together.
Sunday, August 30th
BREAKFAST & CHECKOUT
Enjoy one final ranch breakfast before checkout. We are so grateful you made the trip to Wyoming to celebrate with us! Check out is at 10am and the wonderful staff at Brush Creek Ranch can assist you with gathering luggage prior to your departure. Shuttles back to Denver will be available and the schedule will be posted on the website. Based on drive time we recommend flying out of Denver in the mid-late afternoon.

Outside of our planned activities listed, here is the general schedule of when food, beverage & activity outlets will be in operation during your stay.
Breakfast (Trailhead Lodge or Magee Homestead)): 7am – 9am
Morning Activities (Activities Barn): 8:15am
Lunch (Pioneer Kitchen): 11:30am – 1pm
Afternoon Activities (Activities Barn): 1:15pm
Saloon Hours of Operation: 4pm – Midnight Daily
